Now that I have a moment...

It's been a while since anybody said anything here. I suppose you can probably understand, given that we sorta have like, y'know BABIES!!!!!

I made people!

Yes, the boys are doing wonderfully, nobody spent any time in the NICU or anything else scary. Evan spent like 18 hours under the biliruben lights, but that's it. I mostly wanted to post about a phenomenon we've noticed: Baby Geeking.
Anybody who's had a baby knows that random people come up to you and go AWWWWWWWWWHESSOCYUUUUTE!!!! before they actually speak to you, the parent. It happens. With twins, however, it happens constantly. and to a greater extent. The grounds keeper at a hotel we're stopping at for a diaper change comes up and goes AWWWWWWWWTHEYRESOCYUUUUTE!!!!! This is a guy who watches spike tv and drinks miller high life. he's a gruff guy, a man's man - and he is a total geek over our babies. We just came back from pizza inn, and literally the entire wait staff and half the patrons were total geeks, for the duration of our visit. They geek over the fact that we had two babies, they geek over the fact that they're identical, they geek over the fact that they were born at around 6 pounds (both ways - some geek about the smallness, and some geek about how big they are, given that they were preemie twins.), they geek over everything and anything. It's hard to stuff my face like a disgusting pig with some old lady making smoochy faces at my son.
